Back in the Saddle

I am back. It's been a while since I posted. I came down with whooping cough and managed to break at least one rib coughing, so was instructed no painting until it settled down. I don't think you could tell a painter a more devastating thing. Thank goodness I now have the ok to paint and an eager to climb back in the saddle. ; Our son got married, so I travelled to and from with wrapped ribs and a heating pad. LOL ; And Saturday I was accepted into a second gallery... Art on Mountain, in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a wonderful gallery and the best part is it always smells wonderful in there as it is so close to all the fabulous restaurants in the area.

I have a number of paintings that have been curing, I hope to post soon. Three workshops in a row I have been taking. And another wonderful on line class with Alyson Stanfield coming up in a few weeks.

It looks to be a busy spring, and I am ready. The mountain bluebirds are already here, and have been posing for pictures. The elk are down for their annual Easter time migration through our valley, the daffodils are already blooming, and the sun is shining.

Off to paint.
