Boats at Stresa

A103
Boats at Stresa
11 1/4" x 7 3/4 " Acrylic on 300 lb Watercolor Paper
Available

This beautiful Italian scene was a WDE reference from way back in July. I knew I was over-reaching when I tried to do it, but I just fell in love. :) I have had most of the painting done all of this time, but was terrified I would ruin it with one of my lesser attempts at water. For some reason this week, I just felt like it was time. So I braved it, and am so very happy to see it complete as it should be. And I am still in love with this one.

Nice... I'm always attracted to water and/or boats.

Thank you Helen. I thought the Marina and Ferry Building in Stresa was so gorgeous..I couldn't resist trying to paint it. :)
