Sorry, I've been Traded.
This was a really fun piece created with multiple experiments. One for the background and one for the kitten. The background is kind of a random thing, and you don't really know how it will turn out. I thought this piece looked somewhat like a tapestry. So I then took one of Lorna's many kitties in a photo, and painted it and the edges of the tapestry with Interference Acrylic...which has Mica Flecks in it. It doesn't sparkle much on the screen, but like Mica, as the sun catches it, it just sparkles. What I wasn't expecting is the way the Interference Acrylic went on, the Kitten almost looks "spun" like threads. All in all a great experiment.
