Flamboyant Horse

I started my piece for the July Different Strokes Challenge today. It is based on a reference photo of the Flamboyant Tree that grows in Puerto Rico. For some reason I kept seeing almost a horse head shape in the reference photo, so I decided just to paint it to get it out of my system.
