I am so glad I decided to embark on this endeavor to try and teach myself to paint from books this year. It has given me something new and different to do. I am having so much fun, and it has helped to relieve a ton of stress during all my recent health issues.
While this is not really my kind of scene...the effects of the finished water made trying this one totally worth it just to learn the technique. Very Cool! It was achieved by putting a blue glaze over the finished golden painting to get a green water "reflection". Well worth the effort to learn how to do this. :)
